Army Wives on Twitter

You know, no matter how hard I try, I just cannot get into Twitter. Everyone encourages me to do it to be able to easily get information out about the Army sites that I have as well as connect with other Army wives. But I just don’t get it. It seems hard (almost impossible) to get what I want to say into 140 little characters. Not to mention that carrying on a conversation with someone seems dang near impossible.

I much prefer interacting on Facebook. For one, it eliminates yet another username that I must keep connected to an actual name and it just seems like an easier way to keep up with a conversation. Much of Twitter seems like spam to me and while I’ve found a few interesting links, its been for the most part a waste of time for me.

What are your thoughts on Twitter? Do you like it? Do you use it often? What advice would you give to someone who just can’t seem to get into it?

I can’t get into Twitter, I opened an account but have never used it. I was actually just looking(like mins. ago) on someones twitter when they linked it to FB and was trying to figure out what the big deal was again.

I use it all the time but I have my FB Fan Page linked to my Twitter so everytime I FB something it tweets out. It is just another way of reaching people who are not on my FB page but follow me on Twitter.

I have mine linked as well. And truthfully, those are the only tweets that are made by me! 🙂
