10 weeks 2 days

What was his training like? Normal schedule? Did he train on weekends? Late at night? Classroom or field based?

Darian is currently on a Monday - Friday schedule. He has had weekend training. He had a change of ceremony that they also had to practice. He hasn't worked late nights. He has had both classroom and field training. Also will be out in the field for 1 week towards the end of training.

Did you get to see him during AIT?

Darian has been able to come home due to the fact it is 250 miles or less away. So he has been home twice.

How often were you able to communicate with him? By phone? Email?

Due to the fact he is permanent party, he has Internet and cell phone. We are very lucky.

Describe the graduation ceremony.

It is due to take place on Sept 27th. I am praying he will be in the top of his class. He is currently the 2nd in class!

Any other tips or information?

Take it one day at a time!
