My husband is stop lost and deployed and will be getting out soon .. when we got married he didnt have enough time left in the army for us to move there so we had to stay stateside ( he is stationed in bamberg) we absolutly love bamberg and he was given the option to stay living there .. we would love to live there and he seems to think that the army would pay for our things to get to bamberg instead of them paying to send him and his things home .. do you think this is true or could happen?

The Army will pay for your final move when he ETSs. Your best bet would be to call the transportation office to see if you can do the move in reverse rather than him returning stateside. You would also need to check about the legalities of maintaining a residence in Germany outside of being there with the military. Good luck!
