I have received emails from people from around the world and many thought this website was run by a staff of people. Not quite! :-) It is definitely a one person operation and it is ever changing. In the summer of 2006, the website was completely redesigned for the third time to make it more user friendly for our visitors. All of the information is provided free of charge, of course, including the monthly newsletter and the message board. While it is free of charge to you, it is not to me. My husband has been a great supporter of me in creating this website and maintaining it and I am forever grateful for his support. In addition, many of my website visitors have been kind enough to shop in the Army store to show support of the website as well. It is greatly appreciated! Others have written me and volunteered a donation to help offset the costs of maintaining the website. While I was grateful, I have always declined their very kind offer. At their nudging, I am adding a donation button through PayPal. If you do wish to donate monetarily, this provides a safe and secure avenue to do so. PayPal allows donations of any amount. Most importantly to me, my inbox just this month reached over 4,000 emails from visitors to the website who shared their appreciation with me. This is by far the greatest gift I could receive. It is hard to describe the joy I feel knowing that something I created has helped others. So please keep those emails coming. You literally make my day! |
